The Positions…
Distribution Operator I/II
The Distribution Operator I/II performs a variety of duties in the operation, installation, maintenance and repair of water distribution facility systems, including repairing main and service line leaks and breaks; installing, repairing and maintaining the water system infrastructure such as water mains, gate valves, meter connections, angle stops, service pipes, corporation stops and appurtenances; responding to customer complaints; and other duties as assigned.
Production Operator I/II
The Production Operator I/II performs a variety of skilled maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance on production facilities; regulates and controls the amount of chemicals used to maintain specified water treatment requirements; operates complex field test equipment; performs
instrumentation calibration and low voltage electrical troubleshooting; investigates water quality complaints; and other duties as assigned.
