What is the River-Friendly Landscaping Green Gardener Training Program?
River-Friendly Landscaping is an approach to landscaping that works with nature to reduce waste, prevent pollution and support the integrity of the Sacramento River watershed.  The Green Gardener Training Program is a ten-week series of classes that provides participants with a foundation of knowledge on the following topics:
River-Friendly Landscaping Principles
Soil Health
Mulches and Compost
Irrigation (3 Classes)
Right Plant, Right Place
Integrated Pest Management (IPM)
Pruning for Plant Health
Fertilizers & Turf Care

Class Dates:
Wednesdays, September 5 through
November 7, 2012 (Graduation on Thursday, November 15)
From 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Cost:

$65 for 10 consecutive sessions; includes course materials.
