Supervisor – Water Treatment & Quality
Under general supervision of the Water & Power Operations Manager and the direction of the Water & Power Operations Superintendent, plans, organizes reviews, directs and supervises staff responsible for the operation and maintenance of the District’s water treatment facilities and water quality. This position is designated as the District’s Chief Treatment Operator as required by the State of California Department of Public Health. - Watertender
Under the direct supervision of the Supervisor – Agricultural Operations, and the general direction of the Lead Watertender is responsible for the delivery of irrigation water to water users in the District during the irrigation season. This position also works as a member of a crew involved in the routine maintenance of the District’s infrastructure including: canals, pipelines, pumping plants, roads, buildings and other facilities during the non-irrigation season.
