Water For People is having their ANNUAL WATER SLAM SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT, Friday evening September 25th at Freedom Field softball complex in North Highlands.
When: Friday, September 25, 2015. Players should arrive by 5:00 PM. Food and drink will be available for purchase at the Freedom Park Fields Concession Stand.
Where: Freedom Park, (2802 Perrin Ave, North Highlands, CA 95652- on former McClellan Air Force Base site, use Watt Avenue exit off I-80)
Why: Raise funds to support the efforts of Water for People while having a great time!
Basic Team Guidelines for the Tournament:
- Minimum team size is eight players; at least 2 players must be female.
- Teams should bring their own equipment (bats, gloves).
- If able, teams are asked to provide a scorekeeper for a game other than their own.
- Teams and spectators must be respectful and courteous to others, Freedom Field rules, and Freedom Field staff. Team captains are encouraged to distribute Freedom Field’s rules to your team ahead of the tournament.
- No alcohol, glass containers, outside food or beverages, pets, abusive language, or disorderly conduct will be allowed. Participants violating these rules may be asked to leave.
